Quand en France...

Quand en France...

Paris, as everyone knows is the city of love. By now if you have been reading my blog posts, you should all know that I am a helpless romantic. Who of course needs to go to Paris. For the sights, the food, the architecture, the culture, the love, and THE FOOD.

We had an absolutely amazing time in France. For one week we stayed in a hostel in district one, right by the Eiffel tower. Our location was perfect we were able to do all the touristy must do things in Paris and walk everywhere. Our first day in Paris we took it easy and hung out at the Eiffel Tower with a bottle of wine and some snacks from the store. While we planned out our next week downtown Paris.

We took a day to go to Notre Dame, the Arc de Triumf and walk up and down the bridge looking at local artists work. Everyone knows there is a love lock bridge and I am proud to say that we did not buy a lock to put on the bridge. Mainly because we walked over there first and i saw all the locks that had been cut off of the bridge.

One night we copied everything done in the movie Midnight in Paris. This was absolutely amazing. The lights lining streets, and music that filled the air made it quite, can I say... romantic.

We also spent a week at one of my old neighbors house who lives in the 16th district of Paris. She lives close to one Monet museum so we spent a day admiring his works when I was able to convince Kam that we absolutely HAD to go to Monet’s Gardens in Giverny. So we looked online and booked our trains and tickets to Monet’s Garden on Sunday.
